How to Make a Fruit Matcha Drink
This refreshing fruit matcha combines bright citrus notes, tropical sweetness, light bitterness from matcha, and sparkling freshness from tonic. It’s a vibrant, layered drink perfect for warm days.
What You’ll Need

50 g grapefruit juice

15 g sugar syrup

1 g matcha + 20 g water

Optional garnish: ½ slice of grapefruit, bamboo leaf
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the Matcha (1 minute)

Heat water to 70°C (158°F).

In a small bowl, mix 1 g of matcha with 20 g of warm water.

Whisk until smooth and lump-free.
2. Prepare the Glass (20–30 seconds)

Place the bamboo leaf and grapefruit slice inside your cup or glass for decoration.

This creates a beautiful layered presentation.
3. Build the Base (30 seconds)

Pour 60 g of pineapple purée into the bottom of the glass.

Gently add 50 g of grapefruit juice on top to create two distinct layers.
4. Add Ice and Sweetener (10 seconds)

Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Pour 15 g of sugar syrup over the ice so it distributes evenly.
5. Add the Sparkle (10 seconds)

Carefully pour in 50 g of tonic.
